Green cloth board binding with gilt title and publisher on spine. Minor tear to top of spine and paint splotch on back cover. Inscriptions of former owners and foxing on interior endpapers. Engraved illustrations throughout, with some separation from spine particularly author portrait. Sums and writing on back endpapers and minor pen marks throughout. Printed by R & R Clark in Edinburgh. Inclusive of a scrap of another book on Tennyson included with the donation. Published in 1901 by Macmillan & Co.
