Hugh Lyon was one of the youngest public school headmasters of his time at both Edinburgh Academy and Rugby School, where he remained for 17 years, steering the school through the Second World War. This book is an account of his life by his family, friends, and pupils, and includes some of his verse. It is published to celebrate the centenary of his birth on October 14th, 1893 and has been edited by two of his daughters, Elinor Wright and Barbara Lyon. — Dust jacket is slightly creased and marked in places.
